We arrived in Spokane in the late afternoon, and had some time to take a walk above the Spokane River. The path was along Summit Blvd. where Nat Park used to be.

We saw several spring flowers blooming, including some Sagebrush Buttercup (Ranunculus glaberrimus Hook) and the seemingly omnipresent Whitlow Grass (Draba verna L.). The best find was the Yellow Bell (Fritillaria pudica (Pursh) Spreng).

I had a good time with William, Wil, and my sister Barbara.
