Bill's Botanical Forays

I have not seen a chain gutter downspout before. I thought this one at the Tateuchi Viewing Pavilion in the Bellevue Botanical Garden was cool-looking. A couple of the pictures turned out okay, but the doggone camera thought it was going to be smart and it focused on the background. So the pictures are fuzzy. Next time I will use manual focus. Sigh…. I like the idea of making this type of downspout anyway.

By the way, you can  see some Western Red Cedar (Thuja plicata Donn ex D. Don) in the background.  I can’t resist pointing them out.
