Today along Duvall Bridge Road I spotted a single plant that caught my attention. It was unlike anything I had seen before. At first I let my imagination run wild and guessed it might be the long-sought-for Swamp Pink (Helonias bullata), but at close examination, the habitat was wrong, not wet enough and the leaves were the wrong shape (see the

photographs.) Still, I have not seen anything like it before. So, I will have to keep my eyes on it and hopefully, it will bloom. My next guess is Featherbells (Stenanthium gramineum).
We shall see. Any ideas, anyone?
